Put our charge per line somewhere in the webpage text and have a reference link to it on the left, like we do for everything else. We give our clients 2 options for billing: 1) Gross line based on a 65-character line (anything on a line is a line) is 11 cents per line/0.11; 2) 65-character line cost is 12 1/2 cents per line (I guess that would be written 0.125 and then put (12.5) in parenthesis so these "educated" people get it. I don't know if this is a good idea or not, but it will certainly tell them right away what something costs. This pricing is regardless of how they want their dictation transcribed. Medical Linguistics offers quality assurance services to all types of medical facilities and medical transcription companies. For a charge of four cents ($0.08) per line, we will perform your quality assurance for you. If you perform regular, random checks on your transcriptionists' work, let us do the tedious task for you. No need to give us your MT's name; a number will suffice. We always look for misspellings, formatting issues, etc., but will pattern our quality assurance to look for things that you particularly want checked. We then note our findings on a "grade slip" which notes mistakes, suggestions, etc. in an organized fashion, along with the transcriptionist's accuracy rating. The slip(s) is then returned to you for distribution in the manner normally employed by your facility. Should you have a transcriptionist who needs a bit of help in a particular expertise or area, we will also work with them via scheduled phone calls, email, etc., to improve their skills in this particular area, much like a tutor would. If the above sounds like something your facility might be interested in, give us a call or write us an email, and we will promptly provide you with pricing and more information. Our goal is to help further the medical transcription profession and to actually aid other medical transcription services/medical records departments in their endeavors, as well. In our eyes, gone are the days of ugly competition. We simply hope to help your day-to-day transcription encounters run more smoothly and efficiently. ![]() ![]() 865-774-6138 / 866-774-3168 (office) ~ 865-774-6409 (fax) Email Medical Linguistics |
